Jackie D Lost Over 22 Lbs and 7 Inches Off Her Waist in Just 12 Weeks
I recently caught up with one of my super successful clients, Jackie D, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to work restrictions.
Even though I’m not allowed to disclose her real name or her before/after pictures, I felt like her story was so powerful that I had to share it.
Why did you decide to join Take Your Body Back Now?
Well, I was motivated to join because I was probably the heaviest, I had ever been in my adult life, and I was wearing the same 5 shirts to work everyday, and same pair of pants, and also a whole entire closet full of clothes I couldn’t wear, and it was just making me mad and kind of depressing to wake up and put on basically the same thing, that was a lot of my motivation to do something to lose weight.
Were you concerned you’d be hungry while following this program before you joined?
Oh yeah, I was afraid that I would be just starving! Because I had done several other diets in the past, like you name it I’ve probably tried it, so that was my biggest fear that I was going to be starving and grumpy and not happy.
But no I was NOT starving, I think there was a few times that I did not even finish what was on my plate, because in reality it’s a lot more food when you get it on your plate than you think it is.
Were you concerned you wouldn’t have enough time to meal prep before joining this program?
For sure! I thought was going to be super time-consuming and wasn’t going to fit into my busy schedule.
But meal prep was not near as time-consuming as I had made it in my head, because I had never meal prepped before, ever, and it actually was a life saver and made things go 10 times easier during the week, I just kind of dedicated a couple hours, on Sunday and meal prepped for the week and it made it easy, even for work in the morning, I’d grab my smoothie, grab my lunch, walk out the door, and when I got home I could just heat up whatever I had prepared, instead of grabbing the first thing in sight because I didn’t feel like cooking
You lost over 22 lbs and 7 inches off your waist over a 12-week period, did you ever think you could lose that much so quickly?
No, that was ridiculous! But very nice because my clothes fit, and it was nice because a couple people commented that I was just melting away, so it was nice to hear things like that, kind of kept motivating me.
You’d tried other programs before Take Your Body Back Now, why do you think this time was different?
This program is easy, grocery shopping for it is easy, you eat this and if it’s not on that list I didn’t eat it.
So when I was getting ready for meals or trying to meal prep before it just took way too long because I was having to read nutrition labels and figure out how many points this would be or counting calories or trying to keep up with it, it was just too much.
With this diet it was, you’re on a list, and you eat this much of everything. So it was more successful for me just because it was easier for me to do, it didn’t take time to calculate what you were eating. It was on the list, it was easy, it was stuff that I liked to eat. And it was actually sustainable, it wasn’t something I got tired of doing after 2-3 weeks, I’m still doing it today, so that kind of speaks volumes, ya know it’s doable and easy.
So not only did you get a great result during the program, but you still enjoy what you’re eating now, and you’re still getting results even now – even after it’s over.
Yes, yes, it’s easy to do, you’re not having to buy a bunch of containers that are on the other diets out there, you can go to the grocery store and get everything you need for it.
