I recently caught up with one of my star clients Megan, and I asked her for her feedback on my program – Take Your Body Back Now
Here’s what Megan had to say about the program:
Why did you decide to join Take Your Body Back Now?
I really needed to get myself into action, I was probably the heaviest I’ve been in my entire life, and you posted you were running another 8 week group, and I was in a wedding in 8 weeks. I knew there were going to be pictures taken, and I wanted to look good, and I wanted my bridesmaids dress to fit.
Had you tried other programs before Take Your Body Back Now?
I think every woman has done a variety of dieting to some extent throughout their life. I did Weight Watchers, I did Medifast.
Why do you think this time was different?
Honestly, it’s easy. Easy in the fact that you gave me a list of foods that said, “you can have these meats, these vegetables, and these healthy fats.” And for me, having that kind of black and white guide was really easy. So I’d go to the grocery store, I’d know what I could and couldn’t have. That’s the problem with a Weight Watchers type diet for me, because they say you can have everything, but if I go down that rabbit hole, you give me one cookie, and I’ll end up eating the whole sleeve.
Did you feel that the accountability aspect of the program was integral to you sticking to it?
Absolutely, absolutely. I wanted to show you that yes, I am dedicated, yes I am doing this, I really want to be successful, and it was good because you gave really good tips like “I saw you posted this meal, add a little bit more vegetables to that.” It was a really good back and forth.
How do you feel now about your ability to control your body composition versus before you did the program?
I feel really good, I actively know when I’m making a decision to eat something that’s not on the diet plan, and you and I have talked before, one reward meal is not going to make me gain 30 lbs back, and I shouldn’t feel bad.
You lost 18.2 lbs and 4.3 inches off your waist, do your clothes fit differently?
Yeah I had to donate a whole slew of clothes that were just way too big for me, and now I’m trying to replace it with things that do fit and it’s nice to be able to buy clothes that are smaller that fit!
Who would you NOT recommended the program to?
Someone who isn’t ready to do it for themselves. You could have a million people tell you, “you should do this diet,” but if you’re not ready to do it for yourself, then you’re probably not going to dedicate yourself the way that you should.
